Abstract
The nuclear magnetic resonance of the nucleus in technetium metal has been observed. The shape and position of the resonance are due to combinations of isotropic and anisotropic Knight shifts, first and second order quadrupole interactions, and dipolar broadening. The various contributions have been separated by studying the characteristics of the resonance as a function of frequency.
