Abstract
The ready availability of the starting materials and the extensive possibilities for functionalizing the products are the distinguishing features of the title reaction 1 → 2, which is shown exemplarily in equation (a). Further advantages are good yields, high diastereoselectivity, and the simple purification of the carbocyclic products. equation imageThis publication has 11 references indexed in Scilit:
