Brief Communication: Presence of A-Type and Absence of C-Type Virus Particles in a Chemically Induced Guinea Pig Hepatoma

Abstract
C-type virus particles and reverse transcriptase activity could not be detected in cells from a diethylnitrosamine-induced guinea pig hepatoma after treatment with 5-bromo-2′-deoxyuridine (5-BUDR) or 5-iodo-2′-deoxyuridine (5-IUDR) in cell culture. A-type particles were found in the presence or absence of 5-BUDR.
