Susceptibility of Some Plaque Microorganisms to Chemotherapeutic Agents

Abstract
Several drugs were evaluated for their optimal effective concentrations against specific odontopathic organisms. The minimal inhibitory concentrations for niddamycin, vancomycin, and bacitracin ranged from 0.2 to 10 units/ml. Kanamycin was inhibitory at much higher concentrations (130 to 500 units/ml).
