Tumors of the Esophagus and Duodenum Induced in Mice by Oral Adm.inistration of N-Ethyl-N′-Nitro-N-Nitrosoguanidine2

Abstract
N-Ethyl-N′-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (ENNG) fed in drinking water to CBA/H-T6 mice produced squamous cell carcinomas of the esophagus and adenocarcinomas of the duodenum in about one-third of the animals over a period of 355–540 days. Many of the tumors invaded the adjacent organs.
