Abstract
The rare decay B→ is studied within the context of the two-Higgs-doublet extension of the standard model. We show that for a reasonable range of model parameters, the charged-Higgs-scalar contribution exceeds the conventional contributions from the standard model. For the process → , branching fractions ≳ are possible in this scenario. For the process Z→bq¯+b¯q, we find the charged-Higgs-boson contribution leads to branching fractions ≳.
