Abstract
The Permo-Carboniferous reptile Limnoscelis is redescribed and compared with amphibian and other reptilian types. It is concluded that this form is an exceedingly primitive reptile, definitely advanced over any known amphibian but sufficiently generalized to be regarded as representing the common stem of all lines of reptilian descent. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
