Abstract
The dispersion relation is used for analyzing K-N scattering data to determine the type of the K-coupling and the magnitude of its coupling constant. The followsing assumptions are made: Then it is concluded: If K--p interaction is replusive, K-coupling is scalar. If K--p is attractive, the coupling could be either scalar or pseudoscalar depending on the energy dependence of the K+-p scattering cross section at low energies.
