Abstract
A secondary outbreak of Aphis crassivora Koch pest occured in the DDT sprayed plot of a late cowpea (Vigna unguiculata) cult. (prima) crop at the International Institute for Tropical Agriculture (I.I.T.A.), Ibadan. DDT was sprayed weekly at 1 kg a.i./hec. to control leaf eating to podborer major pests of cowpea. A list of aphid predators observed during early and late cowpea crop is given.
