Abstract
The cross section for the production of by nitrogen bombardment of beryllium was measured as a function of energy. The cross section varies from 100 to 200 millibarns at energies from 15 to 30 Mev. Below the barrier, the cross section falls off with decreasing energy in a manner which indicates a barrier penetration by the entire nucleus.
