Abstract
2 oxyhemoglobins were iso lated from the blood of oxen, sheep, donkey and dog, and from one sample of human blood, by cataphoresis, the oxyhemoglobin concentration being 1-2% and 0.02 M phosphate being used as a buffer. Electrolytes inter fere and should be removed by electrodialysis. The pH must be kept between the isoelectric points of the 2 oxyhemoglobins. The O dissociation curves of the 2 substances are different. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
