Abstract
Twenty-eight infants had their serum immunoglobulins estimated (by radial immunodiffusion) in early infancy. The IgG level was abnormal in twelve infants. Elevated levels of IgA were found in ten and IgM in fourteen. These variations, mostly obvious in the first ten days of life, were detected in the absence of clinical or immunological evidence of congenital rubella infection. Keywords
