Abstract
An adaptive compressive receiver with electronically controlled parameter adjustment for applications like spectrum monitoring of frequency hopped spread spectrum signals is presented. For fast realtime signalprocessing with high time-bandwidth product a SAW convolver is used. We achieve a resolution of 125 kHz over 80 MHz bandwidth. The presented system employs some new digital concepts for the generation of the rf signals and signal windowing and weighting usable to comprehensive use of the high performance convolver. The system shows satisfactory performance and applicability in a wide range of realtime signal analysis. Keywords
