Abstract
It was attempted to compare 2 methods of estimating genetic correlation: one is justified from the original variance and covariance analyses, and the other from the two-way analysis of variance. By contrasting the expected mean squares in the latter in terms of variance and covariance in the former, the standard estimation formula of genetic correlation was illustrated by means of variance components in the two-way analysis.
