Abstract
Various aspects of dropout from a methadone maintenance program in New Orleans are analyzed; 95 ex-methadone patients (36% dropout rate) were studied. Status locations were made for 70, and 58 interviews were completed. Correction for transfers to another methadone program reduced the dropout rate to 27% over a 15-month periodKeywords
