Thrombolytic (Fibrinolytic) Therapy for Coronary Heart Disease

Abstract
A review. The physiological basis for enzymatic therapy with thrombolytic agents is examined and clinical experience with these agents in thrombo-embolic vascular disease discussed. It is concluded that the enzymatic approach to therapy is a feasible one of definite promise, provided that certain difficulties of a technical nature can be surmounted.
