Sarcoid granuloma of the cerebellum

Abstract
A pathologically proved case of sarcoid granulomatous involvement of the cerebellum and meninges has been presented. Other unusual aspects included intermittently positive serologic reactions, a highly elevated spinal fluid protein level, and very low spinal fluid glucose and chloride levels. A remarkable recovery was coincident with steroid therapy. This case represents the seventh instance of a circumscribed, tumor-like, intracranial mass reported in the literature.
