Current-Current Picture, Factorization inS-WaveτDecay, and Nature of the|ΔT|=12Rule

Abstract

It is pointed out that the matrix elements obtained by the factorization procedure from the starting current-current interaction does play a dominant role even for the symmetric part of $K\to 3\pi$ decay amplitudes. Therefore, the $K\to 3\pi$ rates will provide a possible criterion of the primary versus dynamical nature of the $\left|\Delta \mathbf{T}\right|=\frac{1}{2}$ rule.
