Abstract
Sweetness detection threshold, supra threshold estimation, and preference were evaluated in caries-free and caries-susceptible children aged 7 to 15 years. The two caries groups appeared similar on all measures. This report contrasts with previous adult studies indicating a relationship between sweet taste sensitivity and caries status. This publication has 15 references indexed in Scilit:
