Abstract
Juveniles of coho (O. kisutch) and Atlantic salmon (S. salar) proved capable of leaping falls at least 5 body lengths in height. No species differences were apparent; both species leaped lower falls (12 cm) more readily than higher ones (27 and 57 cm) and proportionately more leaps occurred on days with temperatures between 14.0 and 17.0.degree. C than on days with lower temperatures.
