Abstract
The fatty acids of Trichophyton rubrum were investigated by gas liquid and by paper chromatography and chemical degradation. Palmitic, stearic, oleic, and linoleic acids are the principal ones in this organism, with linoleic acid predominating. Behenic acid was detected by paper chromatography.Keywords
