Comparaison et Interpretation de Courbes Obtenues par Porosimétrie au Mercure sur Diverses Essences de Bois

Abstract

Hg porosimetry measurements were done on microsections and also on 10 mm longitudinal samples, on beech [Fagus sp.], spruce [Picea sp.], Scotch pine [Pinus sylvestris] and fir [Abies sp.]. The pathways followed by Hg can be obtained from a comparison of the 2 series of curves. The dimensions of these pathways are compared with texture analyzer measurements.
