Abstract
The ABO and Rh blood group frequencies observed in 13,310 females combining 14 series of patients with carcinoma of the genital system were compared with suitable controls. The incidence of genital carcinoma in persons of group A1 relative to its incidence in persons of the other blood groups shows a highly significant increase. This tendency is most pronounced in cases of carcinoma of the cervix and of the ovary. No evidence for association with the Rb blood groups (D positive and negative only) was found.
