Abstract
The technics of studying material obtained by sternal aspiration, as used in this laboratory, were discussed briefly and emphasis placed on the practical value and utilization of all the material obtained. The combined technics, using smears, imprints and sections, make biopsy of the sternal marrow obtained by aspiration more useful than it would otherwise be if based on a study of smears alone.
