Study of Mirror States inA=19with the (Li6,t) and (Li6,He3) Reactions onO16

Abstract

The reactions ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$(${}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li}$, ${}_{}{}^3{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{He}$)${}_{}{}^{19}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ and ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}({}_{}{}^6{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Li},t){}_{}{}^{19}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ne}$ have been performed at an incident energy of 24 MeV. The observed strong selectivity of these reactions suggests a predominantly direct-reaction mechanism and allows the identification of several isobaric analogs in ${}_{}{}^{19}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ and ${}_{}{}^{19}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Ne}$.
