Abstract
The lowest levels of the ground-state J multiplet of the rare-earth ions in B (with R=Y, Ce, Pr, Nd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, and Tm) were determined using inelastic neutron scattering on polycrystalline materials. The experimental data are compared with level schemes calculated using different models.
