Abstract
A case of Hand-Schuller-Christian syndrome in an adult patient is descr. The nature of this condition and its relationship to eosinophilic granuloma of bone and Letterer-Siwe''s disease are discussed. A therapeutic course of 17-hydroxy, 11-dehydro-corticosterone (cortisone) produced subjective improvement. Peripheral edema and weight gain were observed during therapy, despite excessive urine volumes, and marked fluctuations in urine specific gravity occurred. Skull and visceral lesions were unchanged at the completion of cortisone admn.Keywords
