Abstract
Research findings from a study of 48 women's experiences of infertility suggest that cultural experience may be a useful paradigm for understanding the complexities of infertility. Concepts of culture are presented with the women's descriptions of their experiences, and the advantages of cultural experience over other paradigms of infertility, together with research implications, are discussed. Keywords
