Abstract
Procedures are described which permit the use of an optical filter with sharp absorption bands to supplement emission line data in the laying out of a wave‐length cam for a recording spectrophotometer. The range 355 to 1200 mμ is covered in order to fulfill the need for obtaining spectrophotometric data in the photographic infra‐red region as well as that of the visual. Emphasis has been placed primarily on the requirement of securing a reproducible calibration among several instruments.
