Abstract
In order to evaluate the contributions to the anomalous magnetic moment of the electron (), a method entirely based on computer techniques is developed. This method is embedded in the framework of the functional formalism. As a first result, the contributions to the part of from diagrams with vacuum polarization insertions are derived.
