Abstract
Less popular than it was in the 1930s, T&A is still one of the operations most often performed in the U.S., although data to support its benefits or define its indications are minimal. The authors describe their prospective controlled study designed to provide rational guidelines for performing or withholding surgery or for doing tonsillectomy or adenoidectomy alone. It has already shown how to reduce the number of operations. Keywords
