Abstract
The secondary structure of sauvagine was predicted by the statistical method of Chou and Fasman. The results are compared with those obtained by the analysis of the secondary structure of corticotropin releasing factor. The pattern of helices and .beta.-turns within theses polypeptides is similar. Thus there is an evolutionary relationship in both sequence and secondary structure between these polypeptides, in accordance with their pharmacological properties. Keywords
