Abstract
A facile and efficient synthetic procedure, for one-step Beckmann rearrangement of aldehydes and ketones with hydroxylamine hydrochloride and Al2O3/CH3SO3H (AMA) has been developed; cyclohexanone has been converted into ∊-caprolactam in a quantitative yield. Keywords
