Abstract
The commonly used electromagnetic and ultrasonic techniques for producing hyperthermia for cancer therapy are reviewed and compared. Advantages and disadvantages of various methods are explained in terms of fundamentals. Techniques for measuring tissue temperature during hyperthermia generation are also described.Keywords
