Abstract
The frequency dependent self diffusion coefficient for a suspension of interacting brownian particles is calculated in a simple mode coupling scheme. In the limit of a dilute suspension of hard spheres our result reduces to an analytic form whose zero frequency limit is in good agreement with the result obtained numerically by Marqusee and Deutch. Keywords
