Abstract
The method as descr. by Muxhrer, Hogan, and Bogart for determining platelet fragility in swine is applied to man. The method is evaluated and found to be an accurate test of the resistance of platelets to hypotonic saline solns. Normal platelets are compared to hemophilic platelets. The latter are more resistant (less fragile). The data are offered as additional evidence that there is a difference between normal and hemophilic platelets in man. Keywords
