Abstract
The prevalence of T strain mycoplasmata was investigated in patients suffering from non-gonococcal urethritls and in 2 groups of male controls. T strain mycoplasmata were isolated from 66% of 45 patients suffering from non-gonococcal urethritis, from 61 % of 36 patients with gonorrhea, and from 48% of 54 normal controls. These differences are not statistically significant. The possible reasons for the difference between the findings obtained in this survey and those in previous controlled investigations are discussed. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
