Abstract
The equation obtained by Butcher and Morys for the ratio of the real and imaginary parts of the a.c. hopping conductivity < [sgrave](ω) > is applied to experimental data for three samples. It is found that, instead of yielding a constant value for τ0 for each sample, this equation yields values which show strong frequency and temperature dependence. Keywords
