Lifetime Measurements in O iv Ions

Abstract
The beam-foil technique has been used to obtain an excited ionized oxygen beam. Lifetimes are given for a number of transitions in O iv in the spectral region 1200–5000 Å and the deduced f values are compared with other measurements in the isoelectronic sequence.Keywords
