Abstract
Tests have been made for chemisorption of nitrogen on the (100) surface of a nickel crystal, using low‐energy electron diffraction and photoelectric work‐function determinations. No chemisorption was observed after exposures as high as 10‐3 mm Hg min at room temperature or at 350°C.Keywords
