The Relation of Concentration of Active Ingredient to Insecticidal Efficiency of Dusts*

Abstract

Various concs. of Ba fluosilicate with talc as a diluent were tested on the snowy tree cricket, Oecanthus niveus. As the conc. of active ingredient was reduced, the rate of poison application per unit leaf area was reduced, so that the efficiency per unit of poison was increased by dilution.
