Abstract
The distribution of Asin various organs following the injn. of arsenicated foreign serum proteins into rabbits was compared with that of colloidal thorium dioxide (thorotrast) in the same animals. There is general similarity between the distribution of the 2. High concs. of both were found in the spleen, bone marrow and liver, lower concs. in the lungs, and scarcely any in the brain and skeletal muscles. The only organ among those examined that exhibited any gross divergency between its As and thorium concs. was the kidney, whose high As content appears to be due to the fairly rapid excretion of the foreign protein into the urine.
