Abstract
The electronic specific heat coefficients (γ) of ordered and disordered FePd3 were measured as part of an effort to understand the enhanced hydrogen solubility in the ordered material. γ for disordered FePd3 is higher by 38% whereas its Debye characteristic temperature (θD) is lower by 4%. The hydrogen solubility does not show a positive correlation with the density of states at the Fermi level. Keywords
