Human Leukocyte Migration Inhibition in Agarose Using Four Antigens: Correlation with Skin Reactivity

Abstract
A technique is described for the in vitro evaluation of human cellular immunity by determining the inhibition of the migration of peripheral buffy coat leukocytes in agarose plates after incubation of the cells with and without antigens. The technique is simple to perform and results can be obtained in 18 hr. With three antigens (Candida, PPD and SK-SD), the results correlated well with skin reactivity in normal subjects.
