A New Wool-Destroying Fungus— Ctenomyces Species

Abstract
A species of Ctenomyces has been isolated from damaged woolen material. The morphol ogy, nature of growth, and other characteristics of the species are herein described. Its capacity for deteriorating woolen material is very high and it may therefore be used as a test organism for determining the efficiency of rotproofing treatments on wool.Keywords
