Abstract
Swelling of the foot pad observed 8 days after LCM virus inoculation in the locus was not observed in mice thymectomized at birth. The phenomena were discussed in terms of the immunological function of the thymus. The findings would be useful in the further study of pathogenesis of LCM infection and for studies of the function of the thymus. Keywords
