Abstract
This review with 290 references emphasizes the research on brain functions in learning and memory, and the investigation of neural plasticity. Within these areas, studies were selected that illuminate theoretical issues. Two basic motifs that are relevant to many of the topics to be treated are the growing concern with biochemical events in the brain, and the problem of the extent to which specific neural connections determine behavior. This publication has 38 references indexed in Scilit:
