Inelastic Energy-Loss Structure in Nonviolent Heavy-Atom Collisions

Abstract
Inelastic energy-loss measurements for small-angle scattering in and collisions are reported. The resulting energy-loss spectra display a structure which may be explained in terms of curve crossing and preionization.
