Abstract
Experimental results are presented confirming that optical-phase conjugation in a semiconductor-laser amplifier has the potential to compensate for the interplay of chromatic dispersion and nonlinear self-phase modulation, thereby enabling high-capacity high-power transmission over standard singlemode fibres.Keywords
