Abstract
A method was described for the quantitative isolation of free pregnanediol from normal pregnancy and non-pregnancy urine of [female] [female], which allowed the recovery of small amts. (0.5 mg. %). Pregnanediol was detd. in the urine of menopausal patients following the injn. of progesterone, and it was shown that the administered hormone was partially excreted as the conversion product pregnanediol, over a period of 5-6 days.Keywords
